BOCA RATON, Fla. – World paintings, Art Deco, carved jade and antiques are all offered in Carstens Galleries’ auction on Saturday, July 18, at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

Paintings from three estates come to this auction from Europe, Latin America and North America. Also featured are large and exquisite jadeite sculptures and a variety of pietra dura artwork.

Highlights include:

– A pair of 9½-inch hammered brass plates by Josef Hoffman (above), impressed Weiner Werkstatte, Austria, circa 1929.

– A 13-inch-high glass vase by Andre Hunebelle (below), a bowl of guirlandes, which was made in France, circa 1930.
