Wright auction Sept. 28 features foremost artists of 20th century

CHICAGO – Wright presents 20th Century Art at auction on Sept. 28. This curated sale will include a selection of works by some of the most influential artists of the past century. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

Works include oils, acrylics, watercolors, drawings, c-prints, glass and sculptures.

One of three metal sculptures in the sale is Bernar Venet’s work in rolled steel titled 216.5 degrees Arc x 15 (above).

A terra-cotta sculpture (below) by Leo Amino is from a private collection from the Private Czech Republic.

One of the many large acrylic paintings in the auction is Paul Jenkins’ Phenomena Rainbow Tellin’ from 1977.
