CHICAGO – On Tuesday, April 21, Wright will present Blackman Cruz, an auction organized in collaboration with the renowned Los Angeles dealers Adam Blackman and David Cruz. LiveAuctioneers.com will provide absentee and Internet live bidding.

Coposed of furniture, design and objects selected specifically for this event, Blackman Cruz will include alluring and exquisite works characteristic of their selective and inquisitive eye. Designers from around the world such as Josef Hoffmann, Carlo Bugatti, Andre Sornay, Paolo de Poli and Arturo Pani are represented in this outstanding collection.

The locking mechanisms still function on this 18th century Italian iron-clad safe, which has a $30,000-$50,000 estimate.

Legendary Italian designer Bugatti is represented in the Blackman Cruz collection by these early 1900s chairs and mirror.

Additional highlights include a Blackman Cruz Workshop Snake chair 
(USA, 2003) of bronze and leather, a 17th century carved limestone archangel from Mexico and a 19th century Independent Order of Odd Fellows papier-mache skeleton.
