Wristwatches, fine jewelry featured in Don Presley auction Oct. 2

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Don Presley Auction will present great merchandise from upscale California estates at his sale on Sunday, Oct. 2. The auction, which begins at noon Pacific, will feature more than 450 lots of personal luxury items, works of art and valuable antiques.

Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.com.

Highlights of the auction are the many wristwatches and fine jewelry. An elegant Bueche Girod unisex wristwatch (above) of 18K white gold – more than 2.0 ounces – and having a blue lapis face is estimated at $6,000-$7,000. Other watches in the sale include Rolex, Movado and Geneva.

One of the many beautiful rings in the auction is a beautiful two-tone gold, diamond and sapphire ring weighing 8.50 grams. The center diamond, VS2 clarity and weighing approximately 1.10 carats, is flanked by two round blue sapphires. There are four small round brilliant diamonds on sides as well. The size 6 ring (below) is estimated at $5,000-$8,000.

Approximately 20 antique table lamps by Tiffany, Pairpoint, Duffner & Kimberly and other well-known names are featured in the lineup. An early 1900s Tiffany leaded glass example features a Pomegranate design in orange and amber. The lamp (below) has a $25,000-$35,000 estimate.

The auction will include treasures from all corners of the world and more than 150 pieces of fine art.
