MOUNT CRAWFORD, Va. – Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates’ Fall Fine & Decorative Arts Auction contains a wide selection of material and will include everything from fine art and rare music boxes to miniature lighting and silver. The large auction will take place over two days, Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.

Friday’s session, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time, features part one of the miniature lighting collection of Yvonne and the late Pete Lynch, Lincoln, Delaware; part one of the Connie Scott collection, Bristol, Connecticut; the John and late Evelyn Teague Collection, Bloomingdale, Indiana; a Florida private collection; and part three of the Marcia C. Shaffer collection, Medford, New Jersey; plus others.

Highlights include a rare English cameo floral and leaf pattern miniature stand lamp, likely produced by Thomas Webb & Sons; a basket pattern miniature lamp in cased blue with satin finish; a Stars and Bars nickel-plated cigar lighter/miniature lamp; other fine miniature lighting and fairy lamps; Bohemian glass including cut-overlay examples; Victorian glass of all types; and antique and modern paperweights, including examples by Baccarat, St. Louis and a variety of studio artists.

Saturday’s session, beginning at 9:30 a.m., should prove to be equally exciting and features property from the estate of Cmdr. Buryl and Nelwyn Kay, McLean, Virginia; property from the estate collection of Dan and Doris Chrisman, Roanoke, Virginia; property from the private collection of Dr. George A. and Mary Jane Haas, Alexandria, Virginia; material from the Fritz and Loretta Orebaugh estate, New Market, Virginia; property deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, Virginia; material from the collection of the late Dennis F. Harrigan, , Greenwich, Connecticut; selections from the Joe Cesarini estate collection, Ridgely, Maryland; the private collection of J. Richard and Edith J. “Ditha” Grove, Mars Hall Farm, Gordonsville, Virginia.

The day’s various offerings consist of British and Continental furniture and accessories; paintings, prints and statuary; Asian material of all types; a fine collection of music boxes and rare phonographs; American and European art glass; studio glass; fine cut glass including a Russian cut punch bowl engraved with a depiction of the centerboard schooner Montauk, Dorflinger pieces, and a signed Hawkes umbrella stand; fine silver and jewelry; 18th and 19th century ceramics; and fine American art pottery.
