NEW YORK – Artworks and prints from the 19th and 20th centuries are in the spotlight of the next Jasper52 auction, Exquisite Fine Art Paintings and Prints, beginning at 7 pm Eastern time on Wednesday, August 30, exclusively online at LiveAuctioneers.

This 200-lot auction contains a wide range of artistic styles from the last century’s many movements. Bidders can choose from abstract, Modernist, landscapes, Cubist, classic English and French styles, and much more.

A star lot in the sale is a large Italian Old Master-style landscape of a Mediterranan trading port and tower. The piece is believed to have been painted between 1578-1644. Measuring 37 by 55.5in, this classic scene is estimated at $12,000-$14,000.

A French Expressionist oil of a butterfly or moth from the 1970s is another key lot. Measuring 24 by 29in, this stunning visual presentation carries an estimate of $3,500-$4,000.

And finally, Jasper52 presents a 1960s-era French abstract oil of circus performers atop a horse. It is estimated at $2,500-$3,000.
