OAKLAND, Calif. – Clars Auction Gallery‘s March 25 Modern + Contemporary Art + Design sale set a new United States auction record for the work of artist Loie Hollowell (American, b. 1983-). Point of Entry (Blood-Orange Moon Over Orange Sac) achieved $1,050,000 against an estimate of $400,000-$600,000.
