Diamond ring shone brightest at Miller & Miller’s watches and jewelry sale
9.22-carat platinum emerald cut diamond ring, CA$70,800
NEW HAMBURG, Canada – A platinum diamond ring featuring a 9.22-carat center stone slipped onto a new finger for $70,800, and a circa-1991 Rolex Submariner watch with a solid 18K gold case and bracelet brought $43,660 in an online-only Watches & Jewels auction held June 11 by Miller & Miller Auctions, Ltd. It contained 191 lots and posted an overall gross of $381,287. Prices quoted in this report are in Canadian dollars.

CHICAGO – On October 5, Hindman Auctions will present a Timepieces sale that will offer 80 watches ranging from classic to modern styles by esteemed designers including Patek Philippe, Ulysse Nardin, Cartier, Piaget and Rolex. The sale will also present pocket watches from the Halim Time & Glass Museum in Evanston, Illinois, and also property of the Hirschfield estate of Santa Barbara, California. Absentee and Internet live bidding will be available through LiveAuctioneers.
