GLEN COVE, N.Y – Roland Auctions‘ April 1 Multi-Estates Auction turned out to be its most successful auction of the year thus far, with the strongest sellers in the categories of jewelry, decorative art, fine art and silver. The house sold slightly more than 80% of the lots to post an overall total of $394,000.

GLEN COVE, N.Y. – Roland Auctions NY kicked off the New Year in style. The company’s January 1 sale turned out to be its highest-grossing single-day, and highest-grossing per lot, auction of the past year. The auction lineup featured selections from multiple estates with a spotlight on the collection of a socialite from European nobility who had properties at The Pierre Hotel in Manhattan and in Lloyd Harbor, Long Island. The collection offered everything from Louis XIV to mid-century Modern, along with art, silver, jewelry and decorative items.
