NEW YORK – The first sale of the new year saw prices soar as bidders from across the country and abroad vied for stylish furniture, decorations and art in the popular Doyle at Home auction. Highlighting the January 11 sale was property from two prominent collections – the estate of legendary fashion executive Dawn Mello and property of a residence designed by Hutton Wilkinson, Tony Duquette Inc. The sale totaled a successful $867,350, more than doubling the pre-sale estimate of $263,280-$407,740, with an exceptional 99% sold by lot and 100% sold by value.
Kamelot to wrap October with three days of outstanding sales
