First up is a circa-1930 Persian Bakhtiari rug measuring 12ft 4in by 15ft 4in. Made entirely of woven wool, the rug is in ‘excellent’ condition, having all of its original ends and edges. The rug is estimated at $9,000-$11,000.
The second highlight comes from India. This seedpearl ivory wool and silk hand-knotted abstract rug has a monumental 14ft diameter and is perfectly circular. In new condition, the rug will make a powerful statement in any environment. It is estimated at $12,000-$14,000.
Rounding out the highlights is a 90-year-old Art Deco Chinese area rug made with vegetable dye. Measuring 7 by 11ft, the rug is 100% wool and a variety of blue hues. Professionally washed and cleaned, the rug is ready for installation anywhere. The rug carries an estimate of $10,000-$12,000.
