BIRMINGHAM, UK – Jewelry and watch specialists, working remotely, have been inundated with requests for valuations via the firm’s online valuation portal, website live chat, email and social media channels.

Fellows has come up with an innovative solution to offer their customers the best valuation experience possible during these strange times – a virtual valuation day.

Interested parties are invited to join Fellows’ jewelry and watch specialists for first-of-its-kind virtual valuation day on Tuesday, April 28 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m., local time.

Using video conferencing software, valuers will be able to meet with clients face-to-face to discuss their items. The valuations will be for jewelry, watches and designer accessories.

“We use video conferencing technology a lot internally. Although we are over 144 years old as a firm, we are always keen to embrace technological advances. Our team is now very used to working remotely, valuing items by photo. This is just the next step, really. I hope that this will be a fun, new experience for our clients. I know I am looking forward to running it! I am glad that through these extremely trying times, we are able to innovate and find ways to establish a new normal,” said Fellows’ Alexandra Whittaker, the project’s lead.

As well as their existing customers, Fellows is inviting anyone to take part in this innovative valuation experience. These valuations are offered free of charge for an open-market appraisal. There is no obligation to consign items to auction.
