Whitney Museum reopens but cancels Nov. 1-2 gallery talks

NEW YORK – The Whitney Museum will reopen today, Nov. 1, during its regular hours (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.). However, due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy, the event Gallery Talk: Adam McEwen and Jennifer Gross on Richard Artschwager! scheduled for today and Eleanor Antin: Conversations with Stalin scheduled for Friday, Nov. 2, have both been canceled.
The Whitney’s e-mail server and phones remain inactive, and the museum’s administrative offices are closed.
