PHILADELPHIA – The Philadelphia Business Journal is reporting that the revered Philadelphia Antiques Show will be moving to the Pennsylvania Convention Center next year.
In previous years it has been held in the 33rd Street Armory and, more recently, at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, at the Cruise Terminal at Pier One.
The show will mark its 50th anniversary in 2012. Since 1962, the event has raised $18 million for patient-care programs within the University of Pennsylvania Hospital System. Next year’s show will help establish the Penn Lung Transplant Ex Vivo Lung Perfusion Center.
Show dates for 2012 are April 28 to May 1.
