NEW YORK – Following several months of collaborative planning, industry-leading online-auction marketplace LiveAuctioneers has announced a new partnership with Fiverr, a marketplace that connects businesses with freelancers offering digital services across eight verticals, including graphic design, digital marketing, programming and tech; and video and animation. Under the terms of the partnership, LiveAuctioneers will offer its auction-house clients access to Fiverr Pro, a tier of hand-vetted, top-quality professionals who are trusted by some of the world’s leading brands. The new collaboration is unusual in that it innovatively unites a B2B marketplace (Fiverr) with a B2C marketplace (LiveAuctioneers). It also represents the first time Fiverr has ventured into the dynamic world of online auctions.

Among the hundreds of thousands of services available through Fiverr’s marketplace are graphics and design; digital and social media marketing; ad campaign creation, SEO, remote bookkeeping, inventory management and other remote office functions; website construction, computer programming, IT support and more.

“We are dedicated to deploying cutting-edge technologies and methods for auction-house partners to find the right new buyers at the right time. Through this partnership with Fiverr, which connects two leading marketplaces in a never-before-seen manner, we’re making it easier for our auction houses to fulfill their marketing and merchandising needs with the help of top-notch, cost-effective talent,” said LiveAuctioneers CEO Phil Michaelson. “As more than 75,000 new bidders join LiveAuctioneers each month, the affordable marketing services available through Fiverr’s vetted network of professionals will help auction houses attract and retain valuable buyers on the platform.”

The partnership of two best-in-class marketplaces working in sync within the same ecosystem will drive new business not only to LiveAuctioneers and Fiverr, but also to the auction houses themselves, which operate in a highly competitive international environment, Michaelson added.

“We are always searching for strategic partners who recognize that their users can get more done with professional freelancers,” said Amit Ashkenazi, Vice President of Business Strategy at Fiverr. “We’re excited to work with LiveAuctioneers on this key initiative which will extend their product portfolio and provide Fiverr’s top freelancers access to more clients.”

LiveAuctioneers is the world’s preferred live online-auction source for fine and decorative art, antiques, jewelry and vintage collectibles, serving more than 5,000 auction houses and galleries in 59 nations, and with a database of registered users in 175+ countries. Fiverr is headquartered in Tel Aviv with offices in New York, San Francisco and other locations, and has provided highly skilled freelance professionals to some of America’s most respected businesses, including Google, Netflix, PayPal, Intuit, and Procter & Gamble.
