The classic 20th-century set includes 24 dinner knives, forks, tablespoons, luncheon knives, luncheon dessert forks, luncheon dessert spoons, chop holders, fish nives, fish forks, teaspoons, coffee spoons, and mocha spoons, as well as a large serving spoon and large serving fork. A virtual treasure trove of heavy silver, the lot is estimated at $30,000-$36,000.

Also coming from the same private mansion in Paris, a three-piece platter set was hand-made by the internationally renowned silversmiths Boin-Taburet. Direct from a private residence near Monaco, an original 6-piece French Art Deco sterling silver tea service with tray was made by premier silversmiths Tetard Freres. The circa-1920 hallmarked set (including Head of Minerva) consists of a coffee pot, teapot, samovar (water fountain), sugar bowl with lid, and tray. The quality and design of this set are as close to perfection as any silver collector might ever see, and it has been extremely well cared for. The auction estimate is $22,000-$26,000.
