Fellows jewelry sale features trio of dazzling diamond rings Jan. 14

BIRMINGHAM, UK – A trio of spectacular diamond rings is on the agenda to kick off the first Antique & Modern Jewelry sale of 2016 at Fellows on Jan. 14.

Lot 233 is a breathtaking single-stone piece (below). Weighting in at 6.15 carats, this diamond is accompanied by a European diamond report stating that the diamond is F-G color and SI clarity, set in a platinum band. The estimate is £25,000-£45,000 ($37,195-$66,949).

Lot 202 has five diamonds with the central stone weighing 2.39 carats, H color and SI1 clarity. The estimate on this beautiful piece is £6,000-£8,000

Thirdly, lot 226 is a stylish Art Deco platinum single-stone ring (below). The central 2.20-carat diamond is set within an openwork gallery, and is a G color with VS2 clarity, offered at £12,000-£18,000.

All of these diamond rings are accompanied by grading reports.

The designer selection in this antique and modern jewelry auction includes Tiffany, Cartier, Links of London and Bulgari pieces.

A pair of striking 1970s textured gold ear pendants by Boucheron (lot 260) has an estimate of £1,200-£1,800.

A “Happy Diamonds” elephant pendant by Chopard has an estimate of £340-£440 as lot 282.

Another lot to watch will be lot 299, a Tiffany & Co. gold dog charm, offered at £150-£200.
