TIMONIUM – The next auction for Over & Above Online Auctions will be a collaborative effort with their affiliate, Richard Opfer Auctioneering Inc. This auction is a single-owner collection of train and railroad collectibles. Absentee and Internet live bidding is available through LiveAuctioneers.
The collection consists of a varied selection of railroad china and service pieces. There are B&O Shenango and Lamberton pieces, as well as B&O “Capitol” service pieces. Other railroads are well represented in this collection, including Santa Fe, Amtrak, Delaware & Hudson, Denver Rio Grande, Chesapeake and Ohio, and Chicago and Northwestern. Additionally, there are many silver-plated service items, including flatware, coffee and teapots. The collection also includes a variety of railroad linens and glassware, everything related to dining on a train.

Additionally, there is a variety of railroad signage, including milepost signs, destination signs, and number board signs. The collection also includes a fine assortment of lanterns, railroad tools, photographs and images, books and many items for the railroad or train enthusiast.

This collection features a nice assortment of Lionel trains for all levels of collecting. There are several early standard gauge trains, and many O gauge engines and cars.
