Denise Ryan herself is very personable and customer oriented, and I appreciate it that on the 2 occasions I spoke with her she was very helpful and kind! This was a perfect transaction. The item was shipped promptly and the whole transaction was super easy.

Although her auctions primarily focus on vintage clothing and accessories, I’ve found Guatemalan weavings, a Black Forest nutcracker, and most recently Mexican Tlaquepaque pottery. The pricing is very reasonable as are the shipping costs. My most recent item was shipped in a box about five times larger than the item, which actually endangered the item because heavier boxes the same size were piled on top causing the box to squash despite the label “handle with care.” No damage was done, but I’ve found that the best practice is to snug the wrapped item into a box just a little larger. However, I’m no expert. I think you’ll enjoy browsing her eclectic sales.

Sad day because I will NEVER be bid again on auctions for Vintage clothing Auction and here is why. I called Her and asked her if I could pay with a check and she said yes and confirmed the mailing address, so I sent the check. A few days later the money was deducted from my checking account yet the check had not been cashed. I was trying to keep business and personal accounts separated but figured no worries, I’d catch it on the canceled check. I called Her and reminded her that I’d sent her the check, yet monies have been deducted from my checking account. She apologized, gave the excuse and ask me if I wanted the check return or torn up. I ask to have it returned and yes... yes days later, no check, my 3rd phone call and she said she torn up my check. I couldn’t believe it and I couldn’t believe her. I had the check canceled via my bank and I’m out the money. I’ve loved Her auctions, her things are unique, true vintage, cool, rare and quirky in a good way, but at the end of the day, if I can't trust in my source they gotta go. Sad day.

Denise Ryan Auctions is outstanding in every part of the peruse of the photo's, purchase, pack and popping it in the mail! Great selection of photo's, mentioning whatever faults are (including great close-ups), to the invoice, but especially in the pack and ship portion., Since they do offer in house shipping (& why wouldn't you use this absolutely fabulous offering? it's quick, easy and VERY FAIRLY PRICED). Communication is excellent and I really look forward to whatever my next purchase through DRA might be ~
