THIS AUCTION HOUSE IS BAD, THE ITEMS I BU = OUGHT WERE JUNK, THE SHIPPER WANTED A CRAZY PRICE LIKE $400.00 FOR SHIPPING, I TOLD THEM TO THROUGHT EVERYTHING IN THE GARBAGE THEY SENT THE JUNK BACK TO ROLAND, IF YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM BETTER LOOK REAL CLOSE, AND FOR SURE GET A SHIPPING COST

I can't begin to express how happy I am with my auction winnings. Pick up was a breeze and they were quick to answer questions over email. All of my items were exactly as described. Can't wait until the next auction so I can purchase more things!

I buy from Roland every couple months. They have the uncanny ability of always getting new interesting and cool items. Billy, Robert, Beth, Danielle, Sal and the rest of the team are always a pleasure to work with.

I have been looking for a serving fork and serving spoon in the acorn pattern for several years. I finally found them at Roland NY. Over the moon with my purchase.

I won three items that weighed over 500 pounds on Saturday and 7 days later they were in my living room! Awesome, and highly rate their shipper.

Extremely well packed and protected! I have purchased oil paintings from around the world but never a lamp and was concerned about the metal tole being damaged. Roland NY went above and beyond to protect it without asking. Very professional. Thank you!

Item is not as described: They advertised the vase as being 9 "but was actually 7" which has less value; also advertised said a crack but it was many cracks over 2 areas. I do not feel it is worth the bid I put in, based on the description. I would have worked with them for a partial refund or a full return. Emailed my concerns but have had no reply to my email.

Being overseas I was very pleased with the service offered by Roland NY.

While the items were, for the most part as shown, with decent pictures, there seems to be a big problem with shipping. More and more auction houses are passing their shipping of to third party shippers who don't seem to care or have a clue as to what they are doing. It is approximately an hour round trip from the Park Mail store to the auction house. For this I was charged $100.00. Then there was packing labor of $10.00 for putting eleven necklaces in one bag, so they could rub against each other, and fifteen in another bag so they could become hopelessly tangled with each other. The value of these necklaces was over $1600.00 so we are not talking cheep costume jewelry. Then Pak Mail ignored my request to send it Priority Mail and sent it Priority Mail INTERNATIONAL at double the cost of regular Priority $$147.74. To top it all off they sent it to the wrong address. When you are paying 28 % buyer fee on top of this outrageous shipping expense it adds up quickly. I doubt I will buy from this auction house again due to the high buyers premium and the ridiculous postal costs.
