These surveys are a good idea-it gives buyers the chance to give feedback where as before, I believe, only the auction houses could open a dispute. Anyway, keep them coming as mine was a pretty large purchase through this house. Thanks, Paul

Condition report failed to report loss of brass plating, and a fairly extensive set of photos managed to avoid the problem areas. So no, not pleased. Auction houses need to be more forthcoming if they want the trust of internet buyers.

Item appeared to have suffered damage in removal to warehouse.

The pics were very professional but they lacked the detail to show the many blemishes on the 2 items I purchased via the internet. The tops of each stand actually had 4 screw holes in them. I was disappointed that the auction house didn't mention any of the condition issues in the written listing. I bought these to resell but they have so many nicks, cracks, screw holes and chips that I cannot resell them for even what I paid. I hope in the future they will mention obvious condition issues for those online bidders who can't see the items in person.
