This was a blunder on our part and I sincerely apologize for how this transaction went. The dispute was entirely removed from your account and no storage charges have been assessed. You have bid with us in the past and had a satisfactory experience, so I do hope you will consider bidding with us again in the future.

Dear Sir-This review comes as a complete shock and I welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your experience. I am looking at your account and invoice-your invoice was sent to you on 8/29 (one day after the auction), again on 8/30 including a shipping quote that you requested, again on 9/9 noting that the payment deadline was approaching, and then once more on 9/13. We opened a dispute against you on 9/14 when payment still hadn't come in, then you paid the next day and we promptly removed your dispute. When you called and spoke to our billing department, they immediately sent you another copy of your invoice, not 12 days later. I am happy to share our digital records showing that you were contacted on these four dates. I think the issue here lies in that you were not checking your email, which is where invoices are sent, rather you were relying on the LiveAuctioneers internal messaging system. Perhaps the email address you have on file with LiveAuctioneers is outdated and you did not receive any of our emails? In any event, I apologize for your experience in bidding with A & O and hope you might reconsider your 1-star review.

Dear Sir-This has truly been an unfortunate incident. As relayed during our several email exchanges, this sculpture was packed and shipped and left our custody in good condition. We cannot control the handling of the package once it has left our facility, and the damage to this item was a result of rough/poor handling by the shipper. We shipped another Inuit stone sculpture to Canada at the same time and it was received with rave reviews on our shipping and handling. If you had elected to purchase shipping insurance for $7.50, which we strongly suggest to all buyers, then there would have been a way to refund your money. As I have previously relayed, I am apologetic that this turned out the way that it did. I wish you the best.
