Have to call to ask about status. It's been nearly three weeks and no notice of shipment.

Beware of this auction house! Refused to turn over the item which I had already won (I was the highest bidder with proof) and in fact already paid for.

Picked up a few items from the most recent online auction. The online catalogue and descriptions were accurate. I look forward to attending in person when I can and found the online experience seamless. All my items were as described in the catalogue.

Though I was shipped the wrong item, rectifying the mixup was fairly efficient. I got my item a week later along with a return address label so I could send back the original piece.

Loved the variety of items in this auction. LOL hated I didn't get more of what I wanted! Paid within 24 hours and was contacted by Miles about shipping on Monday. Items were immediately sent to UPS for packing and shipping. Now, I totally get the slowdown with Covid-19. But it took them 2 weeks, until April 15th, to get the items packed and shipped. At the UPS STORE! I finally received them on April 17th. As per I have come to expect with UPS, overpacked and overcharged. I highly recommend using USPS or FedEx. Overall, though, highly recommend Sarasota Estate Auction and Miles...

Tom at Premier Shipment did an excellent job in coordinating and preparing the shipment of an oil painting, engravings and a jade bowl! The cost of shipment was fair. Due to the expertise and care in wrapping these goods, everything arrived quickly without any problem! In all ways, my experience with Sarasota Auction was a positive one!

The painting was damaged (in fairly critical areas) after the photos were taken. While the original photos did show a minor area of damage in the background area, the actual damage included the face of two of the subjects in the painting. The auction house DID say they would keep the item and refund our payment however we had already made arrangements to have the item repaired for our client. When I told the auction house we wanted to keep the item anyway, we discussed a credit toward a future auction but the lady's manager was out that day and she would get back to me. I have emailed a follow-up but never heard anything about that credit. The shipping process was swift and easy. The lady I spoke to at Sarasota was very nice and understanding. They just did not follow through with our discussion.
