Baker’s is excellent!! If they can’t find an item (now I am not talking high dollar) they replace with a higher price item and if the item you bid on and won and it was damaged two smaller items are added to your shipment. But they always call to tell you or ask if that is OK. Very nice people!

If you email them for help you they will not answer you for days and then it is just a pre-written canned answer. If you call their Head Quarters for help no one will answer and no call back if you leave a message. If I am going to spend thousands of dollars I expect some some customer service vs zero

Took forever to receive my items although I paid for them the day I received the invoice. This is not a good way to retain customers and foster confidence. Not a winning business practice.

In the invoice, I was told $12 for shipping, but they charged $26. On the positive side, it arrived sooner. The package arrived, and nothing was damaged. Over all it was a good experience.

I did buy from Baker's in the past but I can't really answer the above set of questions as it was awhile back. However, I will say this: Their start prices are too high and way out of line for the types of items they sell. There were stickers on some of the pottery pieces and so I could not see the actual item. Some have very vague descriptions and they aren't good on condition reports. The jewelry needs clear close ups. Can't see what to buy. I hate the horrible old boxes they put their stuff in (i. e. like records, empemera, etc.) reminds me of a garage sale or a flea market. So, not the top quality yet they expect high prices. That just won't happen. On April 4th they had a sale and I personally would have bid on a number of items (metalware objects) and yet I couldn't even match the start price and turnaround and resell the items. Not all of us are collecting for ourselves and they just don't seem to understand that. Hope this helps...

The wedgewood was described as a "plate" which was hardly the case. It's about the size of a coaster for a drink. Very disappointed

The picture was a little fuzzy but I should of noticed the stains. It would of only taken a couple of key stokes to state that it was badly stained. I won't buy from this dealer again.

I have sent 2 notices requesting feedback and received no response whatsoever. They have received full payment and charged me for shipping (which is fine), but no tracking or notice that items were shipped. It's been three weeks.

I have sent many questions and informations about shipping wishes and payment sending, I didn't get any reaction. I've sent the payment with western Union on 5th march, now it is 22nd march and I've no delivery item??????

Auction how sent me an invoice the next day. I paid it the same day. That was over three weeks ago and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED TRACKING NUMBERS, EMAIL WITH UPDATE OR THE ITEM ITSELF!!! Not even after I emailed them for an update a week ago. I will never use them again. Sincerely, Thomas
