Excellent from start to finish!
First timer here-had never bid/won on an auction house sale online before. Communication to my couple of questions, after winning, was lightening fast and detailed. Shipping charges were as expected and reasonable. My item arrived very quickly and well packed. I'm very happy and very impressed!

Bodnar's Auction Sales
I bought a couple of lots from a recent auction, I had to have the items shipped and the auction house was very easy to work with related to getting the items packed and shipped. There was a problem with shipping and I contacted the auction house. They went above the norm to help get a conclusion on the matter. I felt that they were willing to help and seemed very personal in all communications. I would absolutely by from them again.

Purchase arrived smashed; no refund of shipping costs offered
I purchased a large (life-sized) ceramic dog at Bodnar's auction and paid them for shipping. The dog arrived smashed. Bodnar's auction house insisted that I manage the claims request with UPS, so I sent in documentation, extensive photos, and returned the box with packing and chards to UPS at their request. UPS told Bodnar's that they had wrapped the ceramic with the wrong bubble wrap-and Bodnar's refuses to refund me shipping costs, even though they handled wrapping and shipping.

Items under $100.00 the claim has to be started by the buyer who has the item. UPS declined the insurance claim but we still refunded her the amount for the item. Insurance does not cover the cost of shipping, this is UPS and USPS policy. The item was packed well and had bubble wrap and UPS just used this as an excuse to decline the claim. We feel bad the item broke but this is an hazard of items being shipped and even though they did not cover the claim we still did the right thing and gave her the full amount back except the shipping which they would not have covered anyway.

Professional all the way!
I won a bid on a Kinkade painting. I asked Bodnar's Auction Sales if I could combine the shipping and auction amount. They were quite prompt, responsive, and professional about it. I received my painting in a large cardboard box. It was easy as it all went on my Discover credit card. Yes, I would buy from these folks again!

Item descriptions missing critical details
In the world of internet bidding, item details are critical. Some bidders are not able to view items in person before bidding. We rely on the auctioneer to properly describe the item, wonderful things about the items and also, it's flaws. The last two items I purchase had flaws that should have been in the description or pictures but were left out. Only for me to find out after having them shipped, 6 weeks later, and then finding the flaws. No more bidding without seeing the item myself.

We stand behind what we sell. This is the first time of hearing something wrong so not sure what seems to be the problem. Buyer has not contacted us. The local ups store lost 2 employees in February and we had shipping delays and this was out of our control. We have been working with most of the buyers to fix this issue and some things had to go to another ups store to help out. Sorry for the delay. One employee had a stroke.

Excellent customer service.
Could not have been happier with Bodnar. There was an issue with shipping (UPS fault) and Bodnar immediately went out of their way to assist and fix the issue even though it wasn’t their fault. Best customer service ever.

Still waiting in my item almost a month later.
I called the auction house to inquire about shipping. They said UPS store was going to package my item and they would send me an invoice. Almost a month later my item still hasn't shipped. The auction house said call the UPS store... that's all the help they gave me. Not a good experience so far.

I am sorry you feel that way. You reached out to us the other day inquiring about a shipping invoice and we gave you the information for the UPS store since you didn't have it. Had you told us there was an issue, we would have gladly reached out to the UPS store for you and inquired with them what the problem was. You have to let us know there is an issue to have a good experience... oh well.

Very slow and expensive to ship
I bought three engines, a couple of cars and a few switches. They charged me $170 dollars to ship it. It also took over a month to ship it. I can ujderstand them being slow. But they charged about three times what they should have to ship my items. That was totally uncalled for. I will never be using this action house again.

Neil, We did not charge you anything. The UPS store packed this and shipped to you. We did not charge 3 times of any amount, nor do we take that long to ship. What you purchased was more than our in house shipping can handle, which in our terms we state in that case, it goes to the UPS store. I am very sorry you are not happy with the shipping, but please do not say we did this when we did not.
