auctioneers should provide additional detail of the item being auctioned, especially if there is damage to any extent..

poor resolution photos were inadequate for a distant buyer. Some areas of wear & damage not photoed, not verbally described. Vague verbal description reflected auctioneers lack of knowledge, that I used to my benefit.

I purchased over Live Auctioneers...... but told them I would pick up in person as I was coming to New Eng. for vacation. They held the item until I got there. The two girls in the office helped me wrap and move the item to my truck. They were very friendly and helpful. It was a very positive experience. The comment about the photos, is general. I like auctioneers to show several photos, sometimes even the back when it is furniture. The neutral on shipping is that I picked it up.
