B. S. Slosberg, Inc. Auctioneers run a efficient business. I had the item shipped by a company they recommended on their site. Dealing with them also went smoothly but shipping was high to me, but Item was packed very well. Item was larger tha I expected. Overall very happy and plan to participate in future auctions.

I have purchased several items from this auction house and have found their descriptions to be fair and accurate. My only issue is that when you leave bids on many items, and as in this case win only one item, the cost of shipping through an outside vendor gets more expensive. Their outside shipper was excellent. However, I wish this firm and others would offer in-house shipping at cost to accommodate non-local bidders. In the long run the more bidders participating in a sale will potentially increase activity which means higher prices realized for items sold. I have had many successful transactions on Live Auctioneers. However, due to increases in shipping costs, unless an auction house provides a shipping quote in the lot description which some now do, or offer in-house shipping, I may start to deal with only firms that can ship in-house. Highly recommend B. S. Slosberg for their accurate descriptions and pronto response to questions. Thank you.

I won two low-priced lots that packed a punch in terms of value: I highly recommend this auction house. I will definitely bid again here if I see something I like. Philadelphia Mailroom offered above-average quality of service for shipping, but buyers must be aware that it can sometimes cost much more than the items won. All in all a pleasant experience.

I was surprised at how beautiful the items we're that I had purchased. The photos don't do these antiques justice. Everything was seamless and wonderful from bidding to payment and pickup. The folks working at the pickup center were friendly and made it easy.

Only purchased one small item this time. Was accurately described in the listing. Good communication. Recommend Philadelphia Mailroom for shipping. They followed-up promptly with a quote and did a good job packing the item. Thank you.

Shipping was VERY expensive and the bokys got wet, back board and panel of dust jacket of hardbound book was the worse as to water getting to. NOT packed well to avoid damage. Carrier could have left package in more protected location. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

I've purchased items from other auctions like eBay and eBids but recently foundliveauctioneers.com and figured I'd look to see what was local to save on shipping. I found BS Slosberg was practically around the corner from me and they had some things I was interested in so I bid on a few items and won one at a great price. I paid online then called ahead and a wonderful woman I spoke to had the item waiting for me when I got there. She was super friendly and took the time to tell me about their auction house while I looked around. They were already staging for the next auction and said I could stop by to check out any pieces before bidding, which is a pretty amazing advantage to have over other bidders so that's really cool. No doubt I'll definitely be back.
