The photos were awful but I recognized the work. The fact that the vases were entirely coated in paint and plastic should have been disclosed. Luckily I was able to remove the yellowed clear coat and repair more honestly.

The auction house was great. It was the third party shipper that was the problem. Poor customer service and way overpriced. No other options so the bidder is stuck with the poor shipper.

no in-house shipping necessitated third party involvement and represented 33 % of cost of goods. not acceptable to the re-seller. while service levels were superior by the auction house and the shipper we will need to look elsewhere to replenish inventory. this is unfortunate as interaction with the people at these facilities was most pleasant.

I only wish they shipped. It would make things much easier for the buyer. I know a lot of auction houses do in-house shipping and that is so great. Overall my experience with this auction house was superb.

Description misrepresented some items and the photos did not display the content of boxes so you were forced to believe the descriptions. Refunds were issued but the customer service was indifferent and made excuses. Would not accept responsibility. Was sent a message telling me their reputation is great so my complaints were unjust.

As for the auction house, they get a 5 star rating, the shipping company was very excessive, I feel I was over charged by at least 40.00. My friend that helps me with auctions own a UPS store, and they use top notch packing material, double wall boxes when needed, they giuve me a 10 % discount because I give them business every week-now in fairness to the shipping outfit I used with Slosberg Auction, they did in fact provide excellent prudent safe packing, but I think they do an injustice to there client which is Slosberg by charging what they charge-my Gosh, Slosberg gives the Mail room fresh new business they would have never tapped, they should be bending head over foot for the business, especially in todays horrid economy and the difficult time small business has had to deal with the past 8 years-here is my way of thinking and it is good news, I will use and buy from Slosberg in the future and I would give the Mail Room another shot only because they did pack well and had excellent customer service people-I just hope that the 2 of them get together and take it easy on the customers... and with what I paid for shipping, if that is the price standard, Slosberg could look at doing there own shipping in house as they would not lose money-like I said-yes, I will do business in the future and if Slosberg recommends the Mail House, I will give them another chance... The last thing I want to do is mess up a business relationship and cost anyone there job or the account-but improvement can be made and I hope my comments are taken as constructive, not petty and not picky... Thank you

The shipping services they use are ridiculous. One shipper quoted me $139.00 to ship. I paid $40 to have 10 matchbox cars dumped in a bubble mailer. I will never buy from this auction house again.

When I got the item that I have won, the glass was all busted and I have got the run around with the shipper and ups. The item was insured and I have now fixed the glass. The Philadelphia packers gave me the run around and I called them twice. I also called UPS once and they said they where waiting on them.

I like doing business with this auction house. I bought there both for my business and for my home and it was always a pleasant experience. When I bought furniture and notified them when I'll pick up the furniture was always by the exit, ready to pick up and before I knew it the staff already loaded it to my van. They are honest and always tell you if they see a problem with the item.

I did not see that shipping had to be third party so it was a hassle to arrange that and very costly. The auctioneer company was nice.

I had a very good and professional experience with this company not like my last one from your auction website. I was not happy with Capo Auction from Long Island NY and will never do business with them again.

Drove all the way to Philadelphia to pick these items up on a date I emailed them 2 weeks in advance and the place was locked up in chains. No communication. Still don't have my items.

I still haven't received my item that i won. I contacted VG after i paid you, she said she would look after picking it up for me and send it out. Now she doesn't answer my emails and i have no idea where my won items are. I was in contact with her at least 4 times and then nothing.
