some starting bids are extremely too high compared to other auctions I visited

Bought online but paid in cash at pickup. No cash discount was very disappointing.

The only negative was with the software as the auction had to be postponed due to computer problems. Don't know if it was the auction house or Live auctioneers.

I am learning quite a lot about various Auction Houses, thanks to your site. That being stated, I will NEVER bid on anything offered by B. S. Slosberg, Inc. Their absolute refusal to consider shipping of an object measuring 1 1/2 "(h) x 4" (l) x 3 "(w) was incredulous, particularly since their response to by query was to read their Invoice and make my own arrangements. It took me two days of calling various shipping companies in Philadelphia to find a shipping quote for less than $375. When I did finally find one, the owner was as mystified as I that B. S. Slosberg was unwilling to ship anything as small as my purchase. The inconvenience, coupled with their elitist attitude in lacking to help has cemented my decision to break ties with your site, and deal directly with the two Auction Houses who CAN handle their business professionally.
