Lewis & Maese always has such an interesting mix of items in their auctions. From inexpensive to important pieces. Nice group of guys and all of their staff are great and very helpful.

Buying from these Gentlemen for a long time & have always walked away satisfied! Have never had issues, always had a good time at their live auctions, & they come up with a wide variety of items-+ the "Man Cave" auctions are awesome! This is my second purchase from Lewis & Maese and I will be back. I had the opportunity to speak to the owner the last time I picked up my items and he was very knowledgeable. He explained his processes a little bit and I feel very confident in the ethics of this operation. I sent a few emails with questions about one of the items prior to purchasing and received honest responses regarding the condition.

My first and last time purchasing from this auction house. Shipping with pakmail was a nightmare and rip off. I called the auction house letting them know they should no longer use pakmail as a preferred shipper. The lady laughed at me! I believe her name was Donna. I will spend my money elsewhere.

I purchased two lots of items that were titled Pre Columbian. When I received the items, two of the pieces were clearly marked reproduction. They didn't mention the fact that they were reproductions in their description. Highly deceptive. Beware.

Item was as described, payment process was very easy, shipping was reasonably priced and item was packed very well.

I have contacted them a few times to see when I can come pick my items up. They have not responded, so I drove out there on Saturday and they were closed. I have called there several times and no one has answered. I would now like a refund.

Very nice product. Came well packaged and in perfect condition. However, it took over 3 months to arrive.

From initial inquiry to picking up the item the experience was A +. I wasn't able to pick up the lot for a couple of weeks and they were able to store it for me until I made it. Great Staff.

I have bought several items from Lewis & Maese over the last few years and have been very please with everything I got and how it all worked out.

Candelabra was represented to be Baccarat from the 1800s. Baccarat is all hand blown glass of the highest quality. What I received was pressed glass made by Fostoria. Badly damaged, which was also misrepresented. I called several times. No one would take my call. Currently disputing the charges since this was not remotely what the auction house claimed it was. At best, they were incompetent by not authenticating the items before listing. At worst, this is fraud. Stay away from these people.

Perfect-great items, easy transaction, excellent!

The piece was described as "Original", however the label on the piece clearly indicates it is an a/p (artist proof). Artist Proofs and Originals are not synonymous. When I contacted the Auction House, I did not get an email response. When I called, I was hung up on. Below is the email I sent to the Auction House in response to being hung up on (I have not had anyone contact me) and will collect my investigation, as well as contact the artist first, but plan to involve state regulations available to auction buyers, if I my research proves I was misled. I don't know who I was speaking with, yet, on the phone a moment ago, This person, rudely, handled my inquiry regarding an a/p (which he admittedly revealed that he knows what that means and it was not disclosed on the item description) and proceeded to hang up on me. This is leading me to confidence in my examination of proper description for the item in auction and I will continue to pursue the matter. I see the information available to me for utilizing the state regulatory system for assistance. Because of this person's behavior, I will not only review on every possible avenue available my experience, but I will also proceed with contacting the state immediately. I am open to a civilized and rational member of this auction house is welcome to contact me to reasonably discuss and get to the bottom of my purchase together.

A wide variety of exceptional quality items at very reasonable prices. The live video previews and vignettes are very helpful. Always a pleasant purchasing experience.
