Recently I inquired about an item-a small mantle clock-was in-house shipping available? I was told that, should I bid on and win the clock then YES! I bid. I won. The item was shipped to me in a matter of days (very well-packaged!) for about $100 LESS than a shipper-for-hire would’ve most likely charged. The clock is in great condition (the battery was dead but I just put in a new one and voila!) and it looks awesome above my fireplace, along with all my other Stickley mission style pieces. Thanks!

Service was great. Shipping was fair. Shipping costs is a problem with many of the auction houses. In fact I will no longer bid with companies that don't offer in house shipping. Too bad too as I see lots of auctions I would love to bid on but I've been charged OUTRAGIOUS fees for simple shipping and frankly, it takes all the fun out of it.

Dana J. Tharp Auctions were a pleasure to deal with. I live in Australia and shipping to me is not as straight forward as shipping internally in the USA. My priority mailed package arrived in perfect condition and the item I purchased is absolutely gorgeous. I will most definitely bid and buy again through Dana J. Tharp Auctions.
