I have had excellent experiences with Conestoga Auction company. Online descriptions of auction items are accurate along with accompanying pictures of items. Pick up of items is expedient and easy. Conestoga also provides contacts for shipping items.

All in all a good experience. I was having a mini meltdown because my husband was housebound with a back injury, and my 19yr old cat got very sick very fast, needing her lungs drained in order to breath and I was caring for both of them. We had to have the vet over to put her down 4 days before Christmas. Not to mention I still had shopping to do. They were very understanding about holding on to my items until I could deal with getting them removed and shipped.

I called several times before and after the auction, always getting friendly responsive help. I had some delay removing my purchase from the auction house and they were very accommodating. Thank you all and look forward to future purchases with you.

Overall Satisfied with Conestoga/Hess. However as a general rule, with all Auction Companies charging up to 35 percent buyers charge. The buyer shouldn't have to ask for a condition report and no buyer paying that kind of 'premium' should be stuck with any item damaged and not made note of in the description.

I was somewhat unhappy with one of the items I bid on. Initially was declared the winner of a lot. Later I received an email saying I was not the winner and that an in house bidder won the lot. I don't see how that could happen as the bidding was live and all indications were that I won the lot. This is the type of thing where people lose confidence in the process and think it can be unfair. The 1 lot that I did win I am very pleased with.

I'm a fairly new online auction bidder and this was one of the easiest yet. Contact, invoicing, payment and shipping was about as quick as I could hope for. Look forward to dealing with this auction house again!
