Fun Auction Items packed Ridiculously Well!!!

Strawser auction seems to have many interesting items. However, the shipping cost is way, way hefty for the price you pay for the item. If I had known the shipping coat was so high, I wouldn't have bided in the first place. Bidders should be informed about the estimate of shipping at the time of bidding!

The survey asks the bidders to review the five most important concerns about bidding online: Accuracy, Responsiveness, Payment, Shipping, and overall Experience. Strawser Auction Group is Five star across the board. I have been a bidder on the Live Auctioneers Website for years, and would rate Strawser as among the best, if not the best I have dealt with. Other auction houses could learn a lot from them. I look forward to dealing with them again. Thanks to Strawser for another great auction experience.

Buy with confidence with Strawser, they made the whole process quick and easy. It was a very large auction and I was amazed at how quickly my items were received. UPS also did a great job of packing the fragile birds! There were no problems, a perfect transaction all the way around!!

Really great items in Strawser's Auction Group auctions.

I emailed just after I won and received a message back within an hour about how I needed to proceed. Great communication and very nice people. They have great relationships with their shippers and were able to give me timelines even before I contacted the one I chose to send my items. The pieces I bought were just as described and I wouldn't hesitate to bid, and hopefully win, again!

I received what I expected and they were shipped with care and caution. VERY SATISFIED!

The porcelain figure that I bought had chips and a scratch that weren't described. I believe they do not describe the items properly because they want to sell them at a higher price. The auction ignored all my emails and never got back to me with a reply. Not reliable!

the amount of items in the auctions is great, move along very well, very happy with all my winnings, can't wait till the next Fiesta auction!

I have dealt with Strawser's for quite a few years and am NEVER disappointed with their service.

I’m pretty new to auctions but I’m also sure that Strawser is outstanding for the customer service and helpfulness. Jenny has been a wonderful resource for me personally when I have any questions about the process. I’m very happy with the whole process of bidding and shipping experience.

The description omitted to mention that there was a manufacturing defect as well as a tiny chip (fleabite). Further, I have bought hundreds of items of Fiesta from all over the United States on other venues (eBay, Etsy). I have bought the exact item I won at Strawser five times before (the only difference being the glaze color). The most I was ever charged for shipping before was $30. I was charged $150 to ship the same item from Strawser. When I pointed out the shocking shipping charges to Strawser, their response was "Fiesta is really expensive to ship." No it isn't. Sellers on eBay and Etsy ship it all the time for 1/5 of what I was charged. They then blamed "insurance." No, that doesn't account for it either. All of my other purchases have been insured. And in the case of Strawser, the shipper simply marked the declared value at $100, which is included in all shipping. They then tried to justify the charges because the shipper had to pick it up and package it. The pickup charge was just $5. And ebay/Etsy shippers have to pack the items too, and they still manage to charge 1/5 of what Strawser's shippers charge. When I contacted the shipper, she claimed "Indiana is on the East Coast." I wasn't sure if she was genuinely unaware of where she is living or if she just assumed I didn't know US geography. I went to school in Illinois 35 miles from the Indiana border. I never met anyone from Indiana who thought they were on the East Coast. Even if Indiana were on the coast, I have bought Fiesta from sellers from New England to Florida, as well as the Midwest. Never have been charge more than $30. Bottom line, I bought a $300 item and was charged more than $150 to ship it to me in LA. All buyers need to take that into account when bidding. Don't assume the charges you may have paid on eBay or Etsy are in any way predictive of what you'll get gouged by Strawser's shippers. Don't be surprised when you're charged five times the normal rates.
