I don't normally write reviews but felt it was appropriate to describe my recent experience with Locati, LLC. I'm an infrequent on-line bidder. I collect and restore railway related antiques as a hobby. I've had a few experiences with other auction houses that were less than favorable. Locati was a breath of fresh air. I was impressed by the posted photographs and the well written narrative of the item I was seeking. Some auction houses post thumbnails photos that leave more questions than answers-they should learn from Locati. Clear photographs, I'm sure, produce higher bids and more bidders. I was delighted to win my item at less than I had anticipated. Within 24 hours I received my invoice. Perfect! I called in the payment right away and was very pleased when they answered the phone! They recommended UPS for shipping. Within 36 hours I had a very reasonable quote from UPS. Once again, I called in the payment right away-they were courteous and professional. One week after the close of the auction I received my well wrapped item. I couldn't be happier. Thank you to the Locati team for a job well done!
