BEWARE OF THIS AUCTION HOUSE.
Asked for detailed condition report which indicated this item was in excellent condition. When it was received, their was wear to the lid of the humidor along with monograms that could not be seen from the photos in the listing, When we asked to return this item, the remedy was to return the item and they would run it through another auction. This was less than satisfactory as their remedy would cost us more for an inferior item. The idea of trusting someone to sell an item and re-imburse our costs when defects had already been concealed is ludicrous. I would never thrust this house again.

Bad Bad Bad,.
after 11/2 months I still had not received the items they said they were lost and would refund my auction fees. They did not refund any thing.

Thank you for you feedback Mr. Allen. We're as upset as you with the way this transaction turned out. As you're aware from our conversations your pelt was double sold though we didn't realize it till later in this process. Unfortunately this all took place around Christmas season which is the busiest auction and shipping time of year. We looked everywhere for this on your behalf and once we realized what happened we even offered to find you another pelt which was declined, as was your right. We did however accept the refund request on 01/03/2022 in the full amount. We would never keep funds that aren't ours to keep. Again, we are deeply sorry this happened and wish you the very best. * Warning * Stay Away-Lost One of My Items-Will Not Refund Me
I bid and won an item from their auction. Item was not in the shipment sent to me with all other auction items. I contacted and spoke to them multiple/several times. Gave me the run around. Said they would take care of it. To this date, January 13, 2022, have not received item or refund. Amount of item is small, but it is principle of the matter. Conduct your business honorably-provide items paid for or provide a refund. Do not do business with this auctioneer!

Know what you are buying.
Overall satisfied, however the confederate bills were fake. If I had paid more attention I would have noticed they were identical. Looks like they were made by a printer. All serial numbers were the same. Novelty items at best.

Poor item description
Portrayal of photo was misleading. Actual item much smaller. Scale or dimensions should have been provided. Some lights did not work also when plugged in, which was also not reported in the description

Take better pictures
They would sell at higher bids if they would take better pictures, more pictures and details about the piece, especially antiques. The last auction they had a painting for sell but all that was listed was the back of the picture, so no one had a clue what they were buying.

Disappointing "after auction" service
From the double charge to the exceptionally loooong shipping time, this was by far the worst experience I've had using Live Auctioneers. Prices were at or above retail but the back end of this auction house made me very unhappy. Finally received my items almost a month later. Most other busy auction houses have been much more effective & speedy with this process.
