Refuge: recognizing 50 years of supporting women and children against domestic abuse London - Some of the world's leading contemporary artists, including Maggi Hambling, Chris Levine, and The Connor Brothers, have all donated works to Bonhams special charity auction on Wednesday 1 December at New Bond Street in aid of the charity Refuge. Highlights of the 11-lot sale entitled, Refuge: recognising 50 years of supporting women and children against domestic abuse, include Bella in a Yellow Cardigan, 2013, by Chantal Joffe, which has an estimate of 3,500 - 5,500 GBP, and Moon and Sea, 2021, by Maggi Hambling, estimated at 2,000 - 3,000 GBP.
