Hindman is pleased to present, as our first auction of the Palm Beach season, The Collection of Robert and Mary Montgomery, on October 6th and 7th. Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery made invaluable contributions to the Palm Beach County arts and culture community. Reflecting their interest in the arts, the auction offers contemporary paintings, prints and sculpture, including works by local and emerging artists whom Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery encouraged and supported over the years. Also highlighted are items from the coupleĆ¢ā¬ā¢s collection of Tiffany Studios lamps and Favrile glass, as well as works by Quezal, Loetz, GallĆĀ© and early Steuben. Further included in the sale are Continental and English Furniture, a large collection of Persian and Indian rugs, and Meissen and other fine European porcelain.
