Spring Modern + Contemporary Art + Design

This March, we at Clars are excited to present a number of carefully selected pieces in our Modern and Contemporary Art sale. Featured are a stunning monumental painting by Phillipine National Artist H.R. Ocampo, an oil on canvas painting by Lativian-born California artist Raimonds Staprans, a pastel on paper by Wolf Kahn, and works by Joan Brown, Henrietta Berk, Enrico Donati, and Goetz Valien. Highlights in our sculpture section include a life-size ceramic kimono by Karen LaMonte, bronzes by Beniamino Bufano. In addition, a large collection of fine glass and ceramics including Dale Chihuly, Peter Hora, Dan Dailey, Jay Musler, Concetta Mason, Richard Royal and Bruno Gambone. Also, designer furniture designers such as Alvar Aalto, George Nakashima, Charles and Ray Eames, Arne Vodder, Edward Livingston and Aldo Tura round out the auction.
