prominent estates and collections, including the Henry Francis du Pont Estate.

Known in the community as discriminating antique and art collectors, Dr. and Mrs. Reichert purchased many of the items in this collection at prominent estate auctions throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including the estate of Henry Francis du Pont, founder of Winterthur Museum in Greenville, Delaware. The couple loved Brandywine Valley artists and collected works by Wyeth, Schoonover, Hoskins and Darley, among others.
