A Camouflaged Visored Field Cap for Waffen SS Enlisted/NCOLightweight cap body and visor of waterproof duck cloth, reversible and printed in the plane-tree overprint oakleaf camouflage pattern with "summer" and "fall" color on opposite sides, fall side with folded edge serving as a sweatband. Two sets of pattern-matching insignia applied, "summer" side with separate eagle and skull machine-woven in green on black rayon, "fall" side with separate eagle and skull machine-woven in copper-brown on black rayon. Insignia is untrimmed, eagles with trapezoid and skull with square backing, all machine applied. Exceptionally rare cap, one of two known to exist. Size ca. 57 1/2 cm. C.f.
