Approximately 350,000 were produced through the end of World War II. Ohio Ordnance Works, Inc. produces a semi-automatic reproduction (M1918A3 based on WWII version) of this venerable design so that you can own a piece of history. This is the only one of its kind in production anywhere in the world. It is manufactured with some of the original USGI WWI and WWII parts. For the last 21 years, Ohio Ordnance Works has taken great care in the building of each rifle. Only the highest quality new manufacture and USGI standard parts are used in its production. The receivers are machined from AISI 4140 steel billet on our state of the art CNC machining centers. Every rifle is fully assembled, inspected, test fired, and re-inspected under the direct supervision of a master armorer. SPECS: 24” CMV steel barrel with 1/10 twist rifling & .670-28 threaded muzzle, Phosphate finish, adjustable gas operated (closed bolt semi-automatic), walnut furniture, folding carry handle, adjustable folding leaf rear peep sight and reverse ramp type front blade sight.
