This WWII German Police Issued Walther PPK is marked with the Nazi police Eagle/F on left side of frame, as well as various Nazi Eagle proof stamps. COMES WITH: Black leather flap holster marked: "VITOUSEK/ HOHEN-BRUCK/ 1941" and extra "FN" magazine. SPECS: 3.25" Barrel, checkered black grips, round serrated hammer, fixed sights, serrated rib, lanyard ring, military milled finish, loaded chamber indicator and serrated rear slide/ safety lever. CONDITION: This gun is in good condition with some various light wear, has a nice sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Walther PP (Police Pistol) is a blowback-operated semi-automatic pistol that was developed by the German arms manufacturer, Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen, and introduced in 1929. The Walther double-action Model PPK (Police Pistol - Detective Model) is a smaller version of the original Model PP with a shorter grip, barrel, frame, and reduced magazine capacity. "PPK" is an abbreviation for Polizeipistole Kriminal (literally "police pistol criminal"), referring to the Kriminalamt crime investigation office. Nazi leader Adolf Hitler committed suicide with his PPK in the Fuhrerbunker in Berlin. A Walther PPK was used by Kim Jae-gyu to kill South Korean leader Park Chung Hee. The fictional secret agent James Bond uses a Walther PPK in the novels and films. Elvis Presley owned a silver-finish PPK, inscribed "TCB" ("taking care of business").
