Item Details
Description
This is a Boston and Maine Railroad Armspear switchman’s lantern. Cast with B & M R.R. on the rim, and patent dates of 1886 and 1999 on the rim. Double guard model, with twist off fount that removes easily and correct Armspear brass burner. Patent on fount is 1910. Excellent condition with fine original metal shining throughout the piece. Cast clear Corning CNX globe with B. & M. R.R. cast on the front of the globe.
