This is a lot of six New York Central Railroad Dietz switchmans lanterns. The first five are Vesta models. Lantern 1 has a clear cast Corning CNX globe with NEW YORK CENTRAL cast on the globe, and also has NEW YORK CENTRAL cast on the rim. Lantern 2 is cast with NYCL on the rim and also has a clear Corning CNX globe cast with NYC LINES. Lantern 3 is marked the same way, and has the same globe, but has a wooden handle. Lantern 4 is cast NYCL on the rim and has a plain clear cast Corning CNX globe. Lantern 5 is cast with NYCS on the rim, and has a clear cast Corning/Dietz Vesta/CNX cast globe. Lantern 6 is a number 999 lantern, and is cast with NYCS on the rim. It has a red globe etched with WT CO, likely for Washington Terminal Railroad. It has a replacement Adlake burner and fount.
