An antique Native American Indian beaded belt, produced circa the late 19th Century by a Jicarilla Apache Nation (currently inhabiting New Mexico) tribal artist, is available. It features white beads within a threaded fabric body, adorned with additional red, blue, and green beads arranged in an arrow pattern and geometric tribal designs, along with hammered metal hanging disc embellishments. The belt is presented under glass on red fabric in a semi-shadowbox wood frame, with an affixed plaque to the lower left reading "JICARILLA APACHE BELT CIRCA 1890." While not examined out of glass, the belt is displayed folded over and appears to measure approximately 31" to 32" long with a width of approximately 1.5".
