Item Details
Description
An antique 19th-century wooden box. Features primitive style carved foliate designs on the front, sides, and top, as well as on the interior of the lid. The carving has a faded colored tint, with slightly darker tones to the underside of the lid. Bronzed metal handles are located on the sides, and a small pencil storage box is situated at the top right inside the box. It has a keyhole but no locking mechanism. No apparent maker's mark.

Dimensions: 9 X 23 X 12 in.

Condition: Good overall antique condition with toning to color tint details and heavy storage wear to edges and corner. Metal hinges and handles showing age oxidation. Estate fresh to the market.
