(A) A gentleman peddler doll appears to be wooden with very nice carved features, painted eyes and a wig under his brimmed hat. Dressed in a brown coat and painted pants as his legs. On his rear is a black backpack with straps and he is carrying his tray with a variety of sewing items. By his feet his loyal furry companion. Peddler figure is affixed in a dome. (B) A nice example of a 19th century peddler doll holding a plethora of various goods contained within her basket and on the ground. Depicting an elderly female figure appears to be carved of the wood. A beautiful companion to the gentleman peddler figure. Condition: Damage to dome of a female peddler, and significant crack to the glass dome of the male figure, otherwise good. Condition: (Various) Dimensions: Largest: 13" Dia. x 15" H.
