A red "Beat It" style leather jacket, signed and inscribed by Michael Jackson in black marker at the left breast, "Beat it! / Love / Michael Jackson."

The red leather zip-up jacket with a stand-up collar and elasticated cuffs features silver-tone hardware embellishments, inlaid zipper accents throughout the jacket along with silver-tone chainmail at the shoulders. Both sleeves are detachable, converting the jacket into a vest. The jacket is lined with a red synthetic lining and a plaid brown, green, white, and black flannel. There is no label or size tag present.

Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from the person who was given the jacket after visiting Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch.
