The haft has a very nice untouched patina. It is very strong, stable and well balanced. The haft has a beautiful intricate wire-work that is intact and complete. The wire-work at the bottom of the haft is slightly unraveled but can be put back in place. At Hills Collectibles we leave antiques in the same condition or state and leave it up to the new owner to choose whether to polish/retouch surfaces at their own discretion.
