Description: Parker No. 62 eyedropper fountain pen, classic gold-filled hand-etched pansy-pattern overlay, endpiece imprinted "PARKER FOUNTAIN PEN / PAT. 6-30-91 1-3-05." 145mm. No. 2 Lucky Curve circle-vent nib, no flex. Very fine condition, light handling, small brassing spot to lip of cap, cartouche not inscribed. A lovely example.
The No. 62 was offered in Parker's catalog (c.1912) for the then-lofty sum of $14, and was described as being "covered with the finest 18K gold." At 145mm long, this version is larger than some others that we've seen, by a full 20mm.
